That market from what I can see on the few trips I made to perform due diligence is really robust and such a pretty area I can see the attraction for those working in Tech or govmit in DC.

I just sold 1/2 coin to pay for trip to base camp(Everest).  

This is equivalent to a free family trip to Europe if used properly.

(Confusing we know, this means that not only does the customer stay for 7 days or less on avg. they also don't come back multiple times during the year for separate trips and these stays add up to > 30 days -> Trip one: 7 days, Trip two: 7 days, etc.)Personal use of the property of 15 days or more OR more than 10% of the total rental days will cause the property to become a residence.

Rent a storage unit in a nearby town, ship all items to storage unit, pay someone to then use the items to furnish the home or make a weekend trip 

If they don't have vehicles your property will have to be near bus lines or Marta.

I'd like to set up something that gives us an alert if someone is at a vacant property after-hours and to determine if a home is occupied without paying someone an hour round trip to find out (for the rare default situations).  

Your first trip should be to the Planning Dept and ask if it's possible based on the zoning, and if they would view it favorably.

They let my on-site manager know they were going to "take a trip for a birthday party" and have not returned.
