That being said, I have found it is worth taking the risk of them "running the clock" if I am in a pinch and want to efficiently resolve a maintenance request.

@Samir Solanki they should be able to use other methods such as the cost methods or Roi if they are really in a pinch for comps.

This is a fantastic opportunity, and I got all tingly when I read it, as it reminded me of "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory."

For those that have no clue it wasn't a piece of candy for a penny it was "I'll have a pennies worth of the licorice and a pennies worth of the chocolate coins, etc."  

I think many people try to pinch construction pricing because the margins on their "deals" wear thin very quickly and they get desperate.
