I did this with many folks on the road our lake house is on and they call if there is an issue.

@Kasondra Milton- hi there ...thanks ...Raised in the fairport area ...live on west coast now ..last summer I had to return to Roch area to help with a family illness  situation ...I stayed in a AIRBNB that was close to Strong hospital for 3 weeks ...in my search for places - I must say I was surprised at the lack of options ( at least at that time ) ...that being said - I agree with your comment about the fact that Greater  Roch  likely  wont  attract a large amount of renters consitently  ( outskirts  like  finger lakes are a diff story ) - thanks and good luck

My gut tells me that Homeland Security was one of the agencies he reported the “alleged” fraud to, and anything further was wishful thinking on his part.  

If someone from that FB group were not on this thread, you could still be in the exact same position.Anyone that makes allegations on social media needs to be sure that they have the facts correct otherwise they could be financially liable for the consequences.good luck

Day trips to the lakes versus overnights makes a lot of sense.

It may be only a matter of time before we see the Salt Lake City / Las Vegas Guru marketing companies entering the “guru” syndication field. 

My question is - if he has developed a "good" software (allegedly) and has a system in place, why would he pay $10k for people to find him deals using his platform and system if he could just pay an employee to find him deals?

For me personally, I chose Reno because I wanted to be close to Northern CA (where I have family), I love the outdoors and being close to Lake Tahoe, and all of the underlying tech and manufacturing jobs coming into the area, coupled with land constraints juicing appreciation here.
