I am thinking to de-forest the lot (it is a jungle) but i am just worried about the assessed price.

Cactus, Yucca's, Aloe's, and some succulents such as firesticks add a ton of color and will fill up a good amount of space over time.

In the world of bussines, people is looking for a profit, not your interests , its a jungle out there; Tough reality but very true.

With the continuing regulatory jungle of California, I'm looking to other commercial RE asset classes, in California, that are the next best transition for value-add investments.

Moved a few places - went back to what I called home (Wichita) then again wanting to make changes we left our fully remodeled house we never had the pleasure of enjoying as it was under remodel when we left and moved to a complete shxt hole that is dated back to the 70s was dirty and full of bugs and with some land that was a complete overgrown jungle - we could have bought a nicer house but I wanted to keep it very affordable and lower our stress  --- the house was also 2.5 hours away from family to pursue our business purchase. 

Growing up in the jungle, you can discern the predators, the prey, the fabricators, the set traps, you develop conviction because your survival depends on it, you value people more, etc.

We immediately got our landscape contractor to work clearing this jungle of trees and vegetation.
