You would not need the additional income so would simply fold it back into your funds.   

How do I actively bring him into the fold outside of the obvious stuff?

The business model is three-fold:  Fix-flips, Rentals and note investing.

Tipp city has a much MUCH larger market within 30 minutes than Troy does, probably by 10 fold... but again it depends on your strategy.
