While I didn't quit "working," I am now all in.I recently joined a highly respected Commercial Real Estate Debt & Equity boutique firm where I am brokering commercial real estate loans for Retail, Office, Industrial/Warehouse, NNN, Medical, Mixed Use, Multifamily, Development, etc.I'm so excited to finally be in with both feet.  

A friend of mine who has acted as a good sounding board and mentor started his own commercial firm in DFW - not sure if he'd have tenants looking out your way but maybe worth giving them a phone call.Vision Commercial Real Estate - Roger Smeltzer is the owner - smaller boutique firm with a few other sales associates/brokers working for him as well.  

My professional background has been in retail banking with TD Bank, commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield, and investment banking with a boutique investment bank specialized in Airlines, Aviation Services, Aerospace & Industrials.

I was also very interested in downtown Detroit, I don't think there will be much manufacturing jobs except for very small boutique shops like the custom bicycles and expensive watches company.

If I don't choose Keller Williams, I'll probably choose a boutique firm.

Make the time to network with some of the boutique or smaller mortgage brokers.

So in other words all the hard and time consuming tasks are already done and the property is cash flowing from day one".It is very important you do not just invest on faith, learn the area, the team you intend on working with, really drilling down if the boutique supplier is offering you value for your strategy.

Ultimatley, in theory a one-stop shop should offer you the most comprehensive sustainable results, you want the boutique Turnkey provider in your case.

Downtown is booming in many spaces along with several boutique neighborhoods that are surging in demand.
