I know that it is the flavor of the month, but remember just because you get a subject to deal or low interest rate does not mean that it is a good deal.

Find one you like and run with it, but become familiar with the lingo so you're able to converse with someone else that uses a different favorite flavor of investment criteria when they're evaluating deals.Hopefully I didn't just muddy the waters - or make your head explode!

I have 2 thoughts for you since you are starting from scratch.1) find someone you trust that is currently doing what you want to do and flush it out with them.  2)You should know pretty quick whether real estate is your flavor or it isn't.
