Unless the owner keeps the cat and litter meticulous, I find the house stinks in short order, and this triggers some allergic responses to me if I have to go in.

The main reason being that we have heard nightmares about cats spraying all over homes and many people are allergic to cats. 

Even if it's a room in your home or your full home you're renting out and you're deathly allergic to animals, you cannot refuse them. 

And now it has to be disclosed when you go to sell otherwise you can be found liable for someone's future breathing issues or allergic reactions.
