Dodd Frank corrects this by requiring the price be supported by an appraisal or some  basis. 

If you have a lot of liquidity and a great paying W2 and can support your rentals, focus on appreciation/equity.

I would say once it can support paying the $2k-$3k a year for them to dig into just the real estate for you.

Are you able to get an extension on closing to support the timeframe of lender B?
