I recommend browsing Airbnb in your target zip codes to see what’s trending on the front page—this can give you valuable insights into what’s working well.

An example is on one permit I had plans for electrical, plans for gas, plans for AC condenser.

You can also search BiggerPockets and Google for reviews from actual members.

@Taylor DaschYou can buy the property in your own name if it's outside the so-called restricted zone.

If you do it right, you can be very successful. 

I just wanted to piggyback by saying you can still find those kind of deals, but like Nicolas was saying, it's probably going to be on the east side, in C- to D neighborhoods. 

It can be a positive for short term rentals (if in a good area) to be near the airport.
