I would like to know everyone's opinions on the scenario below.You want to get a mortgage for 650k,  one bank quotes you with an interest rate of x basis points over the FHLB 5 year rate, and the other bank's rate is the same spread over a 5 year LIBOR swap.

If you're organized enough, you can reuse the ones you remove and just swap them out from your own inventory. 

If you do have the chance swap out the old lead (Pb) water line connection at the city main also as that could be a $8-$15k job sometime later.

If not an easy size to swap out - then I would repair.

Save yourself some hassle and think about swapping out the unit.

We used the existing ducts of course, just really swapped out the electric heat pump for the natural gas furnace.
