I just find the psychology fascinating.It's like listening to a woman say how her husband only hits her because he is going through a hard time, but he's really a great guy.  

I’m definitely nursing some psychological short term rental wounds, but it’s still worth it.You make more money most of the time with Airbnb and you just have to be willing to accept and manage the risks that are associated with it.

On the other hand I know this is my path to financial "freedom".What are financial/psychological techniques that you all use to keep a low stress level?

Which is why I also tried mixing up the psychology of it, in some of the letters I mentioned how "I noticed it was in pre-foreclosure, and was wondering if me buying it off you would help you before the bank gets involved, would be mutually beneficial" type of thing (just a example not word for word what I said).

It psychologically sucks doing things this way but you are essentially just investing in the house over and over gain and saving interest costs along the way.  

However, the best example is that airlines no longer are allowed to ask for proof that a service animal is required.Plus, because the use of service animals have extended so far beyond the previous scope of assistance animals, it becomes a quagmire as you get into situations where diabetics use dogs that can detect an oncoming blood sugar crisis before a blood test; people with seizure disorders have dogs who can detect an oncoming seizure, which medical science can't outside of an MRI/CAT/EMG; and therapy animals used to calm people with emotional &/or psychological disorders.  

The psychology is always the same, "your an action taker" " your not like other people because your still listening" " you want freedom" and it goes on.

I am reading everything I can about personal finance, business psychology, and of course real estate. 

However, the most significant benefit is psychological, not monetary: everybody loves to see K-1 losses, and nobody likes it when it shows taxable profit.

I now understand the psychology behind this business.
