While certainly I am not sitting in judgment or pointing fingers because I have been guilty of many financial, investment and spending mistakes in the past, it never ceases to amaze me that the largest majority of the population never pays anything ahead to ensure financial peace.

Honestly I am guilty of not following my own advise and posting on multiple sources any more!

If they are an assistant and preparing the paperwork then yes they owe you all of those things and therefore are guilty as charged and should be shot and their corpse drug through the mud.

I have this as a guilty pleasure as my family uses the cabin as a get away and we rent it out to recoup the costs.

I am guilty of only participating in "recent forum posts" area myself :) I understand, and that is why I am helping as much as I am able.

Your mom should look into other sources that can help someone on limited income.. don't put yourself in a position where you feel guilty or trapped to help her out.. if she can stay where she's at then encourage her to do so.Your best position in my opinion is to offer support in a manner where you can guide her to some place where she will find housing in her budget..and only Co-sign for her if absolutely necessary and I would limit the co-sign obligation to a 6 month lease. 

Just saying.I found the article to be guilty of the cherry picking I mention as it only focuses on a very narrow topic that may have in fact contributed to the crash.

I love traveling all over the west, but the hosts out there are very guilty of this and since it's a limited supply it doesn't matter, they make plenty during the summer vacation months.
