The biggest one is the abysmal health care. 

The biggest motivation that i have is to not have my mom have to suffer with terrible health care like my grandmother did before she had passed away due to being on medicare the quality of life she had really bothered me. 

Looking at prices of common goods one can see price inflation; see gasoline, health care, college tuition, food, silver, oil, etc.

Having her get a RE license and trying to do that in addition to RN school might be setting her up for failure as those are not related industries and it requires a lot of time/effort to make money as a RE agent that she could better use toward some healthcare field/RN school.Secondarily, you need to leave LA.
