These things may be easier in the US, there does not seem to be as much emphasis on privacy issues there yet.

I am a licensed EIT with an emphasis in structural engineering so it was even more apparent what the issues were there.  

What I also took away was his emphasis on developing a mutually respectful relationship with his tenants.

It is also a good example of how an over emphasis on safety can guarantee a higher risk of failure (inability to retire).For me my goal was to get out of corporate America so I quit my job and did rehabs for about a year, then pivoted to notes where, so far, we have enjoyed solid returns.
