The problem is to find that threshold for you as if the life insurance return is just 1% higher, what was not worth it as needing 29 years (with an investment return set at 18%) become only 10 years to turn as best strategy; and if you continue to the same 29 years you would then be ahead 10% compared to outside investment only.

Your pm should have hundreds if not thousands of properties under management.  2) Make sure your insurance is valid on a property that’s been vacant 6 months, many policies don’t cover properties empty that long. 3) You could have lowered the rent to $1,200/mo after the first month’s vacancy and been way ahead.

Monthly maintenance can vary but I pay as little as $120 per month for a single pool to $350 for a pool + hot tub with twice weekly visits (mainly for the hot tub).
