I'm willing to not be greedy because he has the means to do multiple deals with me to allow me to scale at a very quick pace.or, suggestions of another, simpler, structure.-$400,000 project-I have $50k in-I have 100% of the 'sweat equity' and will do 100% of the ongoing management-$100,000 investor (100% silent)-he's okay with me buying him out when I have the additional capital-obviously if i were to sell (which I don't plan) he and bank would be made whole before I got a dime.

I have found that the unrealistic expectations are typically based on lack of experience/knowledge by the owners, sometimes just them being a little too greedy, and the lenders approving budgets that don't make sense.  

So for me, I feel like it just comes down to getting a higher value to refi, adding value and equity to the property and my net worth, and providing a quality place to live, and changing people's perception of the "greedy landlord". 

House Traders meets monthly, two landlord groups that meet monthly, a womens only group that meets monthly, a northland group monthly and several others that host events regularly. 

Not some greedy crook, and not one thats going to charge you an arm and a leg.

I agree that its something that many people would support but I also think there would be a lot of people insulted because a "greedy landlord" was trying to grow his business.I dont know.

Offer them a bigger piece of the pie, but don't let them get greedy.
