Such a lawsuit would require Interrogatories, requests for admission, depositions, probably several dispositive motions (such as a motion to dismiss and motion for summary judgment) and discovery related motions, scheduling conference, changes to the schedule, etc etc etc.

One of the issues though is things start to get unique for each house when you get into single family homes so there would need to be some understanding of what to expect. as you get into properties of larger size things get much more uniform regardless of the complex you are at.

(Even though are saving labor costs by doing it yourself there are still plenty of material costs.)If you plan on getting a triplex then this will probably be very tough to find...my suggestion would be to continue saving but also go through the motions of learning to analyze, talking to lenders, going to see properties and prepping as much as possible.You are young and have so much time on your side, don't rush but just prepare and then take action when you feel it is right.Good luck!
