Hi AllWe are selling our gas station/property and provided the buyer with the past 3 years business tax returns and are doing an inspection, but I received an email form the buyer saying their banker is asking for my Schedule E, why would they need my Schedule E for the loan?

We try to do a walk-through with the new tenant at some point to show them emergency shut off locations, instructions on filter changes, etc. so I wouldn't recommend just dropping keys off and that's it, but I have had probably 2 or 3 tenants over the years that I never met, just talked to by e-mail or text.

They are allowable per code here but are generally looked at as temporary solutions and to be honest you can get a ring crimper for the price of about 4 or 5 press on fittings... thus cheaper and more durable/leak free to go the crimp ring route..

BUT you could ask the agent if they would be willing to give up their account with login credentials and then you can change the ID, email, tax info, bank info to the new owner so it is an entirely different account.
