If you rent month-to-month, you get 30 days notice any time of year with nothing to mitigate your risk.There's a big difference between "charity" and offering a discount to reward good customers.

When I sell I will not reap huge cash rewards but during the life of ownership I have doubled my net worth that I would have had owning real estate free and clear.

I was with KW and loved them with no plan to switch but the revenue and stock rewards were too good to pass up at eXp Realty.

My father got laid off in May and due to his age and high level of expertise its really hard to find a corporate job.

Regarding cost seg, would be very helpful to reach out to @Yonah Weiss - you'll get great education at no cost (don't quote me on that - but he's usually glad to share his expertise). 

@Wendy Carpenter I do not have expertise to share but congrats on the deal and faking it till you make it!

I'm sure people have used this but be careful with it as it can be a disaster. you won't get much back in rewards if that is what you are hoping for.

It rewards personal stability and harshly punishes lapses in that stability.

So use their expertise and the more you do this, the more you will start to learn the techniques and patterns yourself.

People with good credit are rewarded with same.
