I am saying this because I want to give a little perspective of who I am and why I will be answering the way I do.Whether it is prior rent locations on a rental application or previous employers on a resume, it makes no difference; it all comes down to liability.

I have had sellers simply decline the auction, or on some occasions have been forced to just let the auction play out and resume the short sale process afterwards.

Sellers do not want their time wasted and if a broker brings a flaky buyer or a pretender to them trying some off the wall stuff then the broker will likely never get business from the owner again.If you have your personal bank account showing funds to purchase for the deal size you are looking in and a resume to include with very specific criteria  on what you are looking for then you might get on some internal lists.
