With that being said, 100 years ago Scranton was a BOOMING and rich city, with the world at it's feet - you'll see this in the architecture as you pass through downtown and the ornate homes in many areas.

Does anyone know any great books and resources on the entire process for building a house (tiny house on slab preferred), starting from concept and architectural plans to refinancing a construction loan to a standard 30-year mortgage?

I'm an LA based designer with experience in the architecture field looking to get more involved in fix and flips. 

But with my 10+ years in architecture I can say that container anything is completely over rated.

I spoke to the town building department very briefly and they said I need architectural drawings and permits for all three, but I’ve heard horror stories about inspectors and inspections.
