If your not thinking the rental route, I have to say I personally received an excellent education buying and flipping my first property, did 80% of the work myself, watching youtube videos to learn how to tile along the way, etc.

I watched a video where the person doing a rental analysis said that it was only important for commercial properties.

I have no experience in real estate investing. when ever I have free time I'm always watching videos on YouTube or listening to different podcast on multifamily investing. 

Keep your guard up, and watch for ways he may try to bully you again.

I know of an apartment that had a cat lady.  

I've read 4 real estate books, watched the BP free course videos, listened daily to the BP podcast, etc.  

As we are about a year out of being ready for action, I am just starting to watch the neighborhoods and keep an eye on what things are realistically renting for on CL, and how high Multi Families are closing in this market.
