I would not assume there is a serious issue with this single incident right now.

But "principal" by statute means you closed on the deal, not that you "have 'an interest in'" per ORC which identifies exemptions and says: "With reference to real estate situated in this state owned by such person... or acquired on its own account in the regular course of, or as an incident to the management of the property and the investment in it; " (emphasis mine)See also my prior post.

Get a copy of the police report and keep your own written documentation of the incident.2.

It has happened to many people I know and a very similar incident happened to me in fact. 

She denied it at first, then claimed it was an incident at work years ago, and that she didn't steal anything.

Yes, you can learn a lot from your contractors if they're willing to share their experience; that isn't always the case when you're a woman... they tend more to try to make things sound more complicated than they really are and I've had several incidents where they outright lied to me.  

There have been a couple of times in the past 10 years where some international incident has had a big multi week impact on occupancy rates.
