I understand your emphasis with podcasts, webinars and books is toward the newbee - but why is the majority of this information devoted to them?

IMO there is no right or wrong,  but what is right for you. ex, If you are someone who is looking to retire soon and need to put emphasis on cash flow (CF) it favors one strategy over the other.

How much emphasis should I as a teen that envisions myself doing real estate investing put on formal education?

As you know, cash flow is "stronger" on challenging neighborhoods, with less emphasis on wealth accumulation. 

I have a Economics degree with an emphasis in finance, so I have experience running the numbers and doing extensive research.
