That's funny.Rather than spend money on that I would like to see the project to Europa happen.It is one of the ice moons with glacier like ice surface with cracks opening and closing.The scientists believe and underwater ocean is beneath the ice.Where there is water and oxygen there can be forms of life.The project talks about sending an unmanned submarine into one of the cracks with a camera to explore.There are literally millions to billions of planets thought to exist.Some mimick the exact conditions of Earth but are too far away with current technology to reach.I personally do not think we are the only thing out there.The science adds up to existence on other planets.I find it fascinating but can understand why with the current economic crunch we need to fix the stuff on our own planet before exploring others.

That being said, we would need to know the offer price on the property to evaluate the surface before digging deeper into financing options, assuming primary the analysis makes sense.

Currently the basement has a wood floor over a dirt surface.  

Sounds very good on the surface, but I'd be concerned there's a lot of deferred maintenance.

BP has a lot to offer and it's just like diving into a river, you have to know what's beneath the surface as well as what is floating along the top.

It really makes no sense to me as it would leave more of a rough "textured" surface, that most would want to sand anyway.  

Another thing I'll do is flush every toilet twice; I had one home where the water was off because of a plumbing issue but someone had put water in the bowl and tank so it'd flush if you tested it once.Ultimately those are all pretty surface-level tests, though.

A commercial transaction may not be tainted later on by the principal or beneficiary of an entity by them moving in as an owner occupant.Things always come to the surface, a buyer tries to refinance, obtain an equity loan, takes bankruptcy, applies of medical benefits, gets sued, etc.Most real estate attorneys are not well versed in financial regulatory law, need to see a specialist. :)  

I'm not hopeful this would be an incurable transaction2) Longevity - As KPM Brings up, people can live a long time, despite ill health. 3) Other family members - Daughter  may change her mind, piss off another family member or some black sheep surfaces who questions your deal.

Although most of the hair should be at the surface.
