It's a ton of hype...If you have prior RE investment experience, you will probably know over half the stuff they cover.

That'll be a major hit for the city and the local economy if that fails to develop after so many years of hype.

I started in this business prior to much of this hype.

But with the hype and people slowly realizing the truth that this **** isn't necessarily easy or straight forward or quick, they like to write it off and say it's dead.

I am afraid you're reading from the hyped syllabus from "How to get rich quick" and that stuff does not help you make better RE investments.A corporate meeting in Jamaica would be fun, but they fail to tell you that you need profits from which to deduct the expenses. 

"Ohh ok, I need backlinks.. lets. exchange backlinks, lets pay for them, lets manipulate the system by creating 29 blogs about random things so I can create backlinks and connect all my sites together.PBN's for example, then get's a bad rep, and again, people just blindly like morons follow the hype and tell me "ohh no PBN's ar wrong".I always roll my eyes and think.. here we go.. an other sheep thinking they know SEO.Anyways, I don't want to publically share too much of my godly SEO powers, so do what you want. 

I search hype local, I talk to neighbors, and I wave at passing cars.

There is too much hype in real estate, Biggerpockets does a good job cutting through the hype usually.Personally, in the past I have been misled by greedy coaches I was trusting to help me and look after me somewhat.
