Only time I had issues was luckily in Australia when the company wasn't paying the rent on time and I was able to communicate with the property manager easily and sort things out between my company people in Israel. 

I'm going to try to freelance and make some money while traveling to make this as sustainable as possible for a long period of time (probably to Chiang Mai or Australia first).

Since she is exhibiting what I would call "attacking" behavior ... this could wind up costing you lots of money if you allow this to continue.
