Hello,Our property managment company states they are advised by Texas Association of Realtor (TAR), before seeing a copy of our rental/tenant screening report, vital information must be blacked out (i.e., DOB, Driver's License, SS#).

Under US Tax law, C corporation are not "pass through" entities - meaning there are 2 layers of tax - one layer at the entity level (the corporate tax) and one layer at the shareholder level (the tax on dividends).

Having purchased several 100+ year old buildings, I can assure you two layers of lath-and-plaster may keep the wind out (or at least reduce it to a light breeze), but it certainly does not keep the heat in.

I have one unit due to be vacant in 2 months and I am planning the action list.The kitchen laminate countertop is OK on the top side, but the edge especially the rounded corners are peeling off and chipped.I think it was put in back in 2001 by last owner and I haven't seen any matching patterns in local home stores.So I am most likely looking to re-laminate everything.Question #1 is, is it OK to put a new layer of laminate over an existing one IF the existing laminate is sound?

The block is dug down and I think there’s 2-3 layers or so, but it appears to be freestanding with no mortar holding it all together.
