I’m interested in buying a mobile home park.

Just joined the family here at biggerpockets,Looking to just get my feet wet and start out with baby steps.Maybe try my hands at wholesaling mobile homes.Whats your though on this way to jump in feet first?

Dedication, direction, drive, and last but not least desire.

Since I'm looking outside of my area, I'm 100% dependent on my agent, so I want someone reliable and dedicated who is interested in providing good service for buyers and not just sellers/listings.

Self management isn't all that difficult—it requires some dedication and optimism when you find yourself dealing with the more annoying "human" problems (i.e. negotiating a tenant not paying rent or destroying your home, etc.) but there's plenty of tradeoff.

Don't drive your typical military mobile (stupid big tricked out truck or souped up gas guzzling hot rod).Max your TSP.

It wouldn’t make sense then since I work full time in NY and can’t dedicate myself to it fully.

You'll just have a very hard time finding a lender who would loan on a non-HUD mobile home.
