@Rufino MendiolaRecommend you first figure out the property Class you want to invest in, THEN figure out the corresponding location to invest in.If you apply Class A assumptions to a Class B or C purchase, your expectations won’t be met and it may be a financial disaster.So, when investing in areas they don’t really know, investors should research the different property Class submarkets.

The loan remains in the name of the borrower.An official assumption means that you are applying for the loan with the bank and must meet all of the underwriting requirements.

I never applied for a Unit that big and was wondering if I should try to get a loan (even though I don't get much income right now). and if how what is the process, is there a way to get the loan without putting money down, etc. the only reason I am asking this is I have no experience in this and it practically me jumping from one house to a 14-unit and am trying to figure out if this is a right move.

Since then, I tell any lender when I apply that I won't work with that specific appraiser and none of them have given me an issue about skipping them if they are assigned the appraisal.
