When someone comes onto my property uninvited, rings the doorbell, and asks me if I want to buy a magazine subscription, thats invasive.

Before I would reduce the selling price of the house, assuming you priced it correctly to begin with: I would think of offering a bonus or incentive to the selling agent who sells it at full price within 30 days; you might also consider spending your own money on advertising your house in the local real estate magazines.

Used to read Inc magazine all the time...now Shark Tank ha ha. 

@Steve B.I remember in the early 2000's there was an article on the back of Forbes magazine how gold was a terrible place  to put your money and over the last 100 + years it had performed way below inflation. 

It’s funny there are people in other states complaining about Californians and /or New Yorkers moving in and making housing prices go up .But here in SoCal locals compete for housing with people from New York , ‘Midwest , the rest of the country and then the very wealthy from China and the rest of the world .

@Jeff LundeenI heard many New Yorkers aren’t necessarily leaving the state, they’re just leaving the city for the suburbs of Long Island, Westchester or maybe even the Tri-State area like the suburbs of NJ and/or Connecticut.
