it's possible but unlikely. a great CPA who specializes in REI will be able to help you plan AHEAD for tax time and use different pieces of the tax code to your advantage, based on your unique situation, and ultimately save you way more in the long run. would you rather pay $750 to have a return done & get a $5,000 return, or pay $30 to have a return done and owe $5,000?

The benefit here of hiring someone with a contracting license vs hiring an unlicensed contractor would be that a licensed contractor is liable for the work being done properly, so if something is not done up to code they would be required to fix it.

Plenty of building code considerations I'm sure given hot water heater right there.My first thought to monetize is to lease commercial grade equipment - maybe 2 stackable W/D - with revenue-sharing from a company that would provide the equipment at no up front cost and handle maintenance.
