Getting the experience of managing a LTR first will put you in a better position to eventually manage a property manager at a vacation property--if that's a route you decide to take...but, jumping right into a vacation property (with or without a property manager) is sort of like hopping in a car and going on a busy interstate before you've ever had any experience driving, and before you've taken any driver's ed courses.Lastly, another benefit of a SF LTR is that--if you buy in a good neighborhood--it will probably have more stable appreciation and rent income than a vacation property.

Damaged my dryer hose so he could run an extension cord to the basement to steal my electricity (I took pictures).I gave him notice that I am ending his lease effective June 30.

We currently have a 30 unit 1/1 in a growing bedroom community in the Little Rock Metro area that needs rehabbing $235,000, and a 4.4 acre tract of commercial property with a turn key restaurant on 1 of the acres located on US Interstate 30 in another bedroom community south of Little Rock, $835,000.

I would also look at Weinland Park (adjacent to Italian Village) and also at the area east of Italian Village before you hit the interstate (not sure what this area is called).

It is a transportation hub with both east west and north south interstates intersecting in central PA.

But I personally own a cluster of homes over in Warren township where you are buying (south of the interstate, closer to Warren Central High School) that have done well for me.

That area is growing tremendously and they are even adding an exit off the interstate About a mile down the road.
