It will require more maintenance for sure as well as possible emergency pump outs which can disturb your guests.Do you currently have an alarm or gauge on the tank to see what the level is?

Because it's inside 8 mile road, I like the big Roladon shutters and the iron grates over the doors--make it seem very secure and safe like a fort (even thought the rest of the road doesn't seem to have them).I also see what what might be an old fashioned land line phone line--this might be connected to an alarm monitoring service for that alarm box by the back door (state of the art 1974).

They never pay close to that because those include all utilities.As far as smoke alarms, city of Bowie requires that you have them in all bedrooms while PG does not.

@Sheldon Peart while I don't have any holdings in BC (other than my principal residence), I've never seen a requirement to inspect more than once per year (generally in conjunction with testing fire alarms).  3 months seems excessive...

Obvious needed repairs like broken windows, beeping smoke alarms, water leaks they would want addressed.They are also looking for signs of pets to make sure there is no animal on their aggressive breeds list.

What about section 8 inspections, annual Inspections, lock outs, lock changes, turnovers, CO detector compliance, smoke alarm installs, doors not closing, water leaks, lead paint issues, collection issues, evictions, vacancy, etc…If I’m spending 10-100K or more on a property across the country I’m happy to pay a PM service to keep my asset in good standing.
