Btw, I don't say this to sound like my time is more valuable than anyone else's -- I ALWAYS strive to minimize the amount of time I take from other people before I have a personal relationship with them (then I bother them constantly :-).-  I want to work with people who are motivated to succeed, even if it requires hard work.

As a PM I do strive to get the highest rent for 2 reasons, first it makes the property more profitable for the owner which keeps them happy and yes I am paid a percentage of the rent so when the owner gets a raise in rent, I get a raise in my fee.
