This stuff is a fiberglass mesh of some sort that is impregnated with tar, so it definitely is troublesome when used for waste lines (might not be so bad if for a stormwater system).

It totally takes the place of any router that I have seen from Cisco.

Her lease isn't up until next march but I've been debating offering her to terminate the lease since she has told me she doesn't feel safe (not feeling safe was her reason of moving out of her last apartment) and the rental demand in the area is pretty good so I think a 30day vacancy is worth not dealing with this headache for the next 8 months.
