About a year ago I made a series of posts about my plans to purchase a multi family in Las Vegas.

Any who can not manage that, as simple as it is.... likely will be introduced to the concept of natural selection.The waste of time on fear and gossip, lack of spine, and apathy of daytime tv will be the real pandemic. 

Don't worry about their entertainment, with no rent to pay and extra money in their pocket, they're going to buy a giant flat screen TV and the latest Xbox from Walmart while doing their "essential grocery shopping". 

If you know about buying a home with a llc/series llc, of any good deals, or know a great contractor to finish a basement please let me know.

I agree your history makes sense for your investments and risk tolerance, but a lot of people want to put the 2nd SFR into an LLC once it becomes an investment.I usually advise people to bundle about $3-500k in equity into a single LLC, in Texas we have a series LLC which can really provide the best of both worlds--separate entities, but much lower costs.

But this (pic) was the reason one of our Incandescent bulb fixtures kept flickering on & off, it also created flicker in others connected in series.

There are a lot of expenses under the current operation: on-line advertising, housekeeping, supplies, insurance, maintenance, internet, Direct TV, utilities, etc.  

However, we are adjusting and putting together a few series in coming weeks!!

I haven't seen much about that on BP... can anyone direct me to some good books or video series on getting started?

you bet - how about when have paid your cable tv provider for years will they keep it on if you don't continue to pay for the service?
