@Allison Adams just wanted to add that any time you’re repair/replacing something like this think about “hardening” your unit … whatever you choose to do, make sure solution leads to less hassle in the future.

Analyze over and over again what went wrong and look for possible different solutions and outcomes to learn from for future reference.

They may be able to help negotiate with the lender on your behalf or provide alternative solutions to mitigate the impact of the increased escrow shortage.Additionally, you could explore refinancing your mortgage with a different lender to potentially lower your monthly payments and escrow requirements.

Hoping the BP community might be able to come up with some solutions with me- ideally we just aren't losing money on the thing, which our payments are $1,200 a month.  

@Tori Roy, I can’t point you to the court records, but I remember learning that anti-trust laws prevent NAR from limiting MLS access to Realtors.I think the solution for you is a no-frills, no-desk-fee broker plus signing up for your local MLS without joining the Realtor board attached to it.I’d suggest doing a little googling, then calling your local Realtor board and inquiring (dare I say “badgering”) them about buying MLS access without joining.Good luck!

You should work toward an amicable solution with tenant and try to re-rent the place as quickly as possible IMO
