There's a significant chance at getting the 25% if I network but revising plans requires an accurate prediction of the amount needed.

Experts are more optimistic and predict 10% or less.

I think the only thing that will really impact the market here is more tech layoffs, which could still happen.My prediction: in about a month or two, they'll say we just emerged from a recession that was never declared.

Dallas is having all kinds of issues in permitting department, and I'm thinking likely their solution will be to hire a 3rd party company to take over....if they do that, likely that company will be very aggressive on things like this, as they will be held more accountable, and their profit may depend on how much fees they collect, so they'll be more motivated to report and find things like this.I'm not sure anyone can accurately predict resale value.   

When you own a rental property or any other business. you can't predict every future expense or problem.

Many options for passive investors and if you choose your operator/manager well I would predict you will make more money and have far more free time in your life.

Rather then trying to predict equity gain, all of the feedback is appreciated and without a doubt helped to get us to what we consider the right decision. 

But those predictions have very real, real-world implications.
