Hello everyone,My Canadian company owns a residential property in California and I want to sell it to my own personal name as I am closing my company.I don't know which professional to consult to help me do the transfer besides my CPA.Can I do the transfer of the deed myself (going to the County Recorder’s Office) and just check with my CPA for taxes due?

There are companies that can do this for you.Having the property in your name will not stop you from taking a loss on your taxes, you don't need to move it to an LLC to accomplish that.

The office administrator did the initial due diligence, the corporate counsel reviewed the lease, the accounts payable coordinator setup the accounts and sent the security deposit, one of the VPs signed the lease, and only after all of that occurred did I get the name and contact information of the tenant.- Now I am in their system as a Vendor/Subcontractor.
