I am going to add window sensors in one home where we sometimes have an issue of freezing the AC compressor because they run the AC while the windows are open upstairs.

For example, in the winter pipes freezing or too much humidity in the summer. 

And to make matters worse, things are different from region to region, and the best tradespeople never give away their best working solutions under any circumstances, so you either have to discover the solutions on your own piecemeal or hire someone looking for work who at least looks legit and pray that they're not BSing you, which is usually a really bad gamble.One of Pittsburgh's oddest features is the extremely high number of freeze-thaw cycles of the area.

Someone will want to store a classic car or something and for a nominal cost you could install one or two modine heaters if it’s not already heated and the renter could pay for a little heat to keep it just above freezing if they wanted to for whatever they’re storing if it is something like a classic car as opposed to just some jet skis or something like that.

We've had heat go out when it's freezing, AC go out when it's 90, flooding, sewer backup, plus a host of other smaller issues (like the previously mentioned keypad/batteries).

I know that I have much better tools available than they did to make smarter decisions when it comes to buying a property, but it still doesn't stop the anxiety of the "what if's" from creeping in and ultimately freezing me up.

But, I keep finding myself freezing up and not knowing what comes next.

I believe they freeze accounts that haven't been used for 7 years.

If this issue persists and the crawl space gets cold enough your pipes could freeze and that is no fun.
