Initially, I was drawn in by the depressed home values, but when looking at the stigma and precarious location of the subdivision, I figured it would be a a long time before people were willing to lease or buy in that area.

I actually enjoy getting by on the least amount possible, maybe a symptom of the recession, my Father told me thats how my Grandad (God rest his soul) and most people lived after the depression which is why all of the depression era's children and grandchildren .... our parents (baby boomers) are, for the most part, financially stable.I implore each of you to be mindful, considerate and compassionate of how you think, what you say, who you say it too and were you say it at.

Also, if anything American guard their privacy more tightly then we do in Canada but for the most part in the US, you can find out a whole lot more online regarding any property then up here.That and the fact that Real Estate boards are still fighting rear guard actions in the courts to protect their turf by not allowing the publication of sales history is depressing....
