In 2020 I did buys people said were trash at the time, wait for the collapse they said LOL, and now today they say "oh wow, that's a cash-cow, I would have done that deal" NO, no they wouldn't because there constantly wearing blinders and not thinking INVESTING, there looking for an E-Z Paycheck to buy.

There is much more to this story I am sure...It does occur to me that since the condo collapse there, your inspection and reserve rules have changed, so I could see this as a result of serious revelations from required inspections, but, even at that, the financial planning should have already been reasonably close to expected needs.

It is probably a little over paranoid but if the market were to collapse again I wouldn't want the bank that has the loans to be able freeze my operating accounts if they were to "call the loan" for some reason.

@Adam Regos if you can wait I would suggest it I think mid next year things are going to change big time it will turn into a buyers market I think we are headed for a recession even a possible dollar collapse hyperinflation I truly hope not but I have a big feeling things are going to change big time if I had that kinda savings I’ve invest it into hard assets just in case but best wishes to you

Right now, since the 2008 Economic Collapse that we suffered, my rule is to do, "one at a time" as I find them.
