I don't look at the less talented or less intelligent to be treated equally in any society.

It is too easy to have something go wrong and in today’s society be a target for a lawsuit when you start to accumulate wealth and assets to not be protected.

I think the things he describes in that book are even more true for Germany - our society is so focused on security and people just can fathom the fact, that traditional pension models won't work anymore.

I do believe that as investors we have a role to play in society (that's why the IRS gives us so many incentives to do what we do) and we have a social responsibility as landlords, flippers, developers etc beyond making money and that's sometimes just not fun.

It is a 5 year process and she has made herself a productive, contributing member of American society (and she keeps me in line).

And yes, by its very nature, the residents come and go, hopefully back out to society after six months. 

The motto I live by is if I'm not growing I'm dying, so regardless of being afraid I must do it, because the end result is.........I would like to enjoy a lifestyle of financial freedom and abundance, be young enough so that I can travel anytime, give to charity as I desire, buy whatever I choose, and build meaningful things that contribute to society.
