It's listed at about $200k and I'm definitely thinking of doing FHA financing but I'm unsure of whether I'd qualify or not for the $200k loan even though I saved enough for the down payment and closing cost, since I only make $15k a year working part time and going to school.

Full disclosure: I lived on campus all 4 years and never rented where I went to school though probably 95% of the upperclassmen rented locally.My sibling attends a Californian university and rents a room in a duplex.

House is in one of the best school districts, and in one of the better neighborhoods. it is a 4/3 with 3200 square feet, on a full basement that is not finished but stubbed for bath.

I haven't seen "self-contained" communities, i.e. communities where most of the jobs are local to the community, e.g. teachers in local schools, workers in local restaurants, etc. ever "boom".
