I would appreciate insights from experienced investors on potential exit plans or strategies you'd leverage if you found yourself in that situation.house hack with lowest down payment that makes sense.. refi and then go buy another house hack in two years do that 5 times over ten years and now you have 10 to 20 doors.. choose locations you would live in thereby mitigating risks of buying poor areas that are tough to manage

Susan I did NOT make a killing on my Madison county properties or my Rankin.. those were all new builds that I bought for gozon tax bene's without the go zone tax bene's they would have been very poor investments..

They complain of feeling like a number, lack of transparency, poor quality control, and more.Find a mid sized local company. 

Normal wall assemblies require tons of different products like lumber, drywall, insulation, sheathing and siding to meet these needs.

I think it's something like "supplemental lines"  where those providers fall outside the normal providers somehow - which gives them price permissions to charge more for their product - but at least you get the insurance.  

It may look like you are overpaying on it on paper but if you buy nice product in nice locations you will appreciate and be well occupied at the same time in my experience.  

I'd avoid apartments or any costar product for that matter.
