I always tell my clients to put a reminder on their phone to go off monthly to ensure they pay off all debts like this that can cause them to have higher credit scores.

@Zach RumfieldI agree with @Bill B. and @Bruce Woodruff that, financially, this is probably a no brainer and that you should run the numbers to see how it pencils out because, even though your dad already owns the property, there are likely still some upfront costs to consider.1.

Hi @Greg Scott,I’ve been questioning that too, I know they’re in a tough financial spot right now so it’s entirely possible they don’t.

Same guy handled a triplex rehab (the one with the theft), and that's where he took money that he simply pocketed or used in some sort of Ponzo scheme to pay off other debts (I have no way to know, but the money did not go to contractors or to continue work at the site).

You should refinance your long term debt into a DSCR loan and then do a heloc on your property.

I would be totally open to it including an accounting software as well where I can see financials across all my properties because I'm tired of my current accounting program, Wave.
