There are a lot of good resources available and proving to your potential partner a serious focus and how you are preparing besides an eventual practical experience will show that even though you may lack the credible experience, you have all the "right stuff" to get there quickly and be a good partner for him too.

Any recommendations for reasonable lawyers that could help me structure the agreement with my uncle to ensure all our bases are covered, it's optimized for taxes, and that he eventually gets the income he is due over time for selling the property to me.As you can see, I have many questions and I know this is a huge project, but I'm committed and I know it's an amazing opportunity.

Eventually it requires a membership but they have a sub-group of some type every week that is included and they also bring guest speakers like Ron LeGrand, etc. for weekend seminars.

Further, the fact that the price is so high (low cap rate = high price) means there is more risk not less because eventually you will have to sell or refi (typically 5 to 10 years) so if the cap rate is a little bit more that = distress.
