I hired him to do the plumbing as well as hang and finish the new drywall and put in a new shower, all of which they assured me they could do. a few weeks went by as they were slowly chipping away at the project, slowly working around the other contractors and whatnot.

The borrower is the chip that gets dropped into the top of the board and the different nuances of each loan and lender are like the pegs that the borrower has to navigate on the way to the bottom where they will have a successfully closed loan.
